Project Overview

MAN Truck & Bus Company, a leading name in commercial vehicle manufacturing and maintenance, appointed our client to carry out a full refurbishment of their Avonmouth depot which we were instructed to carry out the full redecoration of the external cladding, interior offices over two floors and various areas of the workshop. The aim was to modernise both the interior office spaces and the external appearance of the site to reflect the company’s high standards and forward-thinking brand.

Scope of Works

The project covered both interior and exterior elements, including:

1. Internal Refurbishment

  • Complete redecoration of two floors of office space.
  • A fresh, contemporary redesign of the reception area, providing a welcoming and professional first impression.
  • High-quality finishes used throughout to enhance the working environment for staff and visitors alike.

2. External Refurbishment

  • Full repainting of the external cladding across all four elevations of the building, significantly improving its kerb appeal.
  • Painting of two sides of a newly constructed jumbo wall within the on-site mechanics’ workshop, helping to maintain a clean and professional space.

Challenges & Solutions

  • Working within a live operational site: We maintained close communication with site management to ensure works were completed safely and efficiently, with minimal disruption to day-to-day business operations.
  • Weather-dependent external works: Our team remained flexible and responsive to changing weather conditions to ensure the external painting stayed on track.

Results

The Avonmouth depot now benefits from a refreshed and revitalised environment. The upgraded office and reception spaces provide a more productive and welcoming setting for staff and clients, while the newly painted exterior gives the site a clean, professional look in line with the MAN Truck & Bus brand.
